✨ Mission Statement
Magic Minds Drama empowers children and adults to co-create worlds of wonder through shared storytelling, movement, and imaginative play. Each experience begins with a flexible story framework that sparks curiosity and invites children to take the lead, while adults support and co-create with confidence and joy. By nurturing creativity, collaboration, and emotional intelligence, we cultivate meaningful connections and a lifelong love of learning.
🌈 Vision Statement
We envision homes and classrooms where play transforms into adventure, where every rock holds a story, and every child becomes a storyteller, a problem solver, and a hero of their own imaginative journey.
Through shared experiences, we spark joy, curiosity, and a deeper sense of belonging to each other and the natural world.
Who am I
I am a former high school drama teacher, special education teacher, and principal with over 28 years of experience in education. I hold a Master’s degree in Leadership in Education with a focus on mental health, as well as certifications in yoga, mindfulness, Appreciative Inquiry, and positive education. My passion has always been rooted in the transformative power of story, imagination, and play.
I also hold a degree in Drama in Education and have worked as both an actor and director in community theatre and film. Whether in classrooms, living rooms, or on stage, I’ve witnessed the magic that happens when people step into roles, take creative risks, and co-create something meaningful.
Magic Minds Drama brings all of that to life—offering imaginative, child-led dramatic play experiences where adults join in with open hearts. At its core, this work honours the voices of young storytellers and playmakers, celebrating curiosity, connection, and the joy of make-believe.
